Red-breasted Mergansers flying down the Bay

And the Laughing Gulls have returned for the season

Dunlin are around all winter in good numbers.  Here they are moving along the Bay.

Beth'S Patch ~ Spring Migration

Spring migration for me starts when the Northern Gannets fly down the Delaware Bay right in front of my house.  This usually happens about April 7th or 8th but this year they started flying by on March 29th.

The Double-crested Cormorant is bucking traffic!

I pieced these tops over the past few days.  Unsure of where they are headed once they are quilted but might ask a quilting angel to quilt them for me and pass them on.

Fabric Postcard Swap ~ Pieced Quilt Blocks

One of my swaps for this winter is quilted blocks.  I am in 2 groups and I made 9 Patch blocks and Bowtie blocks.  I received back Flying Geese block, ( patch block and Log Cabin blocks.  2 postcards are pictured below.
