Ruby-throated Hummingbirds

For Ruby-throated hummingbirds, I tried many plants but the plants they nectar on most are Mexican Sage, Rocking Deep Purple Salvia along with Black and Blue Salvia. All plants were perennial each year in my gardens in North Cape May. I am waiting to see what happens in PA but I am hoping they will regrow.

Tenth Annual "Friend's of Tommy" Dinner

Another great night at the Tenth Annual Friends of Tommy Kraemer Dinner at Peter Shields Inn. Monies raised go to scholarships at Wildwood Catholic and support Surfrider Foundation. Always wonderful catching up & seeing long-time friends plus eating great food! The desert was out of this world though all of the dinner superb. Karen won the first hot prize..... pickle ball equipment with handmade bag from Chip and Patti Birchall!  Ps.... our table nailed door prizes!!!!!  We've had many, many years of working together at Cape Regional Hospital. Gretchen, Jacqueline, Mary Anna, Patti and more.

HCV ~ My Yard

A return to winter mornings - 28F - and the birds are puffed up and trying to keep warm.  After the more seasonal weather, it's hard to have it this cold.  But the forecast is looking up!

Favorite Zabulon Skipper Image

I am sorting through all of my images and adding them to iNaturalist.  I am enjoying seeing some of the great images I have taken over the years.  I love this image of the male Zabulon covered in pollen!
