Beth's Patch ~ Rabbits in the Yard

 These rabbits don't think I see them and there 20 other bunny friends chowing down in the yard.  I have taken to cages wrapped in chicken wire to protect all of my cone flowers, liatris, malva and many other flowers.  I have also potted them and up them on steps and on the porch.  They are even eating lantana which is supposed to be poisonous to them though I don't see any dead rabbits around here.

This year we are being overrun with rabbits. They are eating so much of the garden - all the Zinnia's. my numerous Smooth Aster plants, all of our coneflowers and even the milkweed.  I haven't seen anything like this since the gardens were started.  Thank God, they don't eat the lantana.  Next year it's no zinnias and all lantana for us.
