It's been a productive week with another 3 quilts made for a total of 7 tops done.

Sunshine Quilts

I have made 32 blocks so far with a goal of 42 blocks to meet my Lenten challenge.  They are 16 patch using 3.5" squares.  Here they are laid out on the floor.  I have been working on getting my stash cut up.  I have also pieced together 2 tops this weekend for a total of 3 made so far during Lent so I am right on target for meeting my personal challenge of 6 quilt tops plus the blocks.

So many members of Sunshine quilters have now challenged themselves to make a block per day for each day of Lent.  That would be 43 blocks in total and great for more scrappy quilts so I decided that I am up for this challenge.  But to add a twist I think I am also going to make a quilt top each weekend of Lent which means 6 quilt tops.  This weekend's top was fun to put together and will be great for either a boy or a girl.
