One of Sunshine Quilers, my online quilting guild decided to make a Tahoe block using a 4 patch blocks with squares so she scaled down her blocks. When I saw her top I really liked it but thought why not use rectangles to make to make the 4 patch since I already have so many pieces cut out for blocks. I did my math and four 3" by 3'5" cut pieces makes the rectangle I need to work with my precut fabrics. Than I made up some sample blocks to see how I liked them made up.
