Dyehards ~ Jewel Box Swap

My online dyeing group has sponsored a number of block swaps using fabrics we have dyed.  In fact, I just got back several quilts made from those blocks and the quilts are fantastic! Years ago. maybe 8-10 years, we did a Jewel Box swap.  Then in 2016 we decided to do another swap so we'd have a larger number of the Jewel Box blocks to work with on planning our quilts.  Here is the 8" finished block.  Below that are several possibilities in how to put the final top together.  Time will tell which layout I like best and fits best.  I am leaning towards choice #2.

#1 ~ 4 Jewel Box blocks set together with yellow lattices and a blue inner border.

#2 ~ Just blocks set together with a black inner border
