Fabric Christmas Tree Postcard Swap

As always we plan a fabric postcard swap for Christmas on Fabric Postcard Art.  We change the theme and sometimes don't have a specific theme.  This year the theme was Christmas trees.

Cape May Point Fire Department

The fire department is celebrating over 100 years of service to the residents of Cape May Point.  There are many small hometown Christmas parades in Cape May County, NJ.  Here is one of the firetrucks ready for the parade tonight.

Cape May Point State Park

A wonderful warm and sunny Thanksgiving day meant there were lots of people out walking the trails at the state park.  I was one of them.  There weren't as many birds as I would have liked but enough to grab some pictures.

Beth's Day ~ Butterflies & the Moon

Settlement is 11 days so between walks around the garden, I have been packing.  The gardens are still going as we haven't had any frosts yet.  It seems like each year the frost comes later and later so butterflies are here longer.  Later, this afternoon, I went over to CM Point to drop off a load of my things where I'll be staying for the next 6 months unless I find new house sooner.

Beth's Patch ~ Bird & Butterflies

Today's butterfly species totaled 7 flying with 3 types of caterpillars and one chrysalis which gave me 8 butterfly species in total. And a Hermit Thrush who was probably here to stock up on the caterpillars.
