At the end of 2018, I started make quilt tops for Quilts of Valor. The group was meeting at the ferry terminal about a mile from my house once a month. When I joined I had some quilt tops I wanted to donate that I already pieced but were waiting to be quilted. My passion is really making the quilt tops and letting someone else quilt them. I do quilt my smaller donation quilts but Quilts of Valor are a larger size and harder to handle on my sewing machine. Quilts pictured here were made from 2020 back to 2018. Over the time, before the pandemic happened, I pieced about 25 quilt tops for them. Currently, our group is not meeting so I haven't been making any new tops.
