This year I haven't been as productive as I might normally have been but with the pandemic there have been many days when I just sit and read or vegetate. About 3 weeks ago I found a stack of rectangles measuring 7.5" by 8.25". I had cut them for some reason but who knows what that project was going to be. I decided I'd make as many tops as my blocks would allow. It turned out to be 5 quilts once I cut about an equal amount of background squares. Here are several of the quilts made from those pieces of fabric. The quilts will be donated locally.

Beth's Patch ~ Cold Moon
Today's full moon called the Cold Moon is the last full moon of the decade. It was gorgeous and peeked out about 4:50PM.

Beth's Patch ~ Ruby-throated Hummingbird ~ Day 24
This adult Ruby-throated hummingbird has been here for 24 days now. Since I don't see him all day long but only a few times a day, I think he must also be using feeders in another yard. Or maybe he's here when I am busy with other things in the house. These pictures are from several days. All have been taken through the window as Mr. Hummer flies off as soon as I open a door to the outside
