Waning Gibbous moon

 There was a Waning Gibbous moon last night. It was still in the sky behind my house at 7:30 AM today. It was gorgeous!

Embroidered Fabric Postcards

 I have been working on making some postcards for the 2 postcard swapping groups, of which I am a member.  Every year we have birthday swaps for any members you care to join that swap.  I try to get the birthday postcards made early in the year.  They are embroidered with free motion quilting on them.  I have about 15 postcards make in all.

 

Quilting ~ Sympathy & Gratitude

 I was honored yesterday to be given some of the fabric stash from a quilter who is seriously ill. A HS friend thought of me when her friend was cleaning out her quilting supplies. There are many layer cakes, fabric kits for quilts, wall hangings, jelly rolls. There's fabric for children's quilts, and Quilts of Valor plus a partially quilted quilt. I feel fortunate to be able finish and use these supplies and sad that Barbara is not able to continue quilting. Thank you Lisa for thinking of me. It was great to catch up with you.
