National Quilting Day
I pieced this top for National Quilting Day. I really enjoyed working with the black, gray, white and red fabrics. I have always wanted to make a quilt using these colors. Now, I need to get it quilted and ready to donate. Thinking of piecing a teal or yellow accent top with the same pattern.

March Donation Quilts for Wrap-A-Smile
Four more donations quilts made for Wrap-A-Smile. The requested size for babies is 40X48 and these tops are at least 40" wide though some are up to 50" long. These quilts were easy to make using 10" from layer cakes I was gifted from another quilter before her death.

Cochranville ~ My Yard, Old Growth Forest & Red-tailed Hawks
This is my garden area in the winter with old growth trees behind it. Beyond that there's a argicultural field, then more old growth trees beyond the field. There are so many birds that come into my feeders from these trees. Every AM, I watch them fly in from that far treeline.
So, across the field in the old growth woods, there are nesting Red-tailed that the crows were harrassing on Friday. They nested there last year also but I didn't get any pictures. Hoping to see the nest from a distance.
Also, I am hoping for lots of warblers to come through in the spring though this property is probably not on their pathway South to North.
