Project Quilting ~ Week 5 -- Give It Away ~ Donation Quilts for Wrap-A-Smile

As many of my friends know I am pretty active in making donation quilts.  Last week I donated 2 tops made from my hand-dyed fabrics January 2019 to my local guild for donation to 2 pre-teen boys.  The grandmother is taking in 5 of her grandchildren so 5 quilts were requested.  These quilts were actually made last year and I intended to gift them to a family member or close friend but I can always make more tops.

This week's challenge was to make something to be given away for Project Quilting.  I have "perfected" a simple but great children's quilt that's about 45" by 60".  Then depending on fabric choices it can be good for boys or girls.  It's fun to make and can be quilted with an allover meander fairly quickly.  Edges can be finished by either binding or using a facing.  So, I have made 2 quilts that I will donate to Wrap-A-Smile.

It's SEW good to have a "Go To" donation quilt pattern, isn't it? These two turned out really cute!

Thanks so much. It is good and it helps that there are some fun focus fabrics out there.
