Beth Patch ~ Ruby-throated Hummingbird

Today is day 75 that the Ruby-throated hummingbird would be here over wintering in my yard.  Last time I saw him was on Monday in the snowstorm at about 4Pm when he came into feed for the last time that day.  I wasn't sure what to expect today as the past 2 days I haven't seen him but I have been busy with other work.  This morning I decided to work on my quilting and trying to get the tension balanced better when using Glide thread.  I had no sooner sat down than Mr. Ruby showed up at the feeder, letting me get a few pictures of him.  Yeah!!!  He survived a massive winter storm and while we had little accumulation here the winds and temperatures were brutal.
