20 years ago, I received this sewing machine cover from my penpal, Katie, in Australia for my birthday. It had been made by her for my birthday. I had the great fortune to have her visit me her in the US and then, in 2018, I went to visit her in AU. I have used the cover all of this time. First, it was used on my Bernina 1130 and then on my Bernina 880+. Just a few days ago, the cute decorative sewing items at the bottom came for me as gifts to welcome me to my new home. It's so wonderful to have quilting friends around the world. It was even better to visit many of them in AU and NZ in winter 2018.
