Monarchs migrating
The past two mornings I have been over in CMP very early to obtain pictures of the roosts. A Monarch roost is where the butterflies spend the night all together on a tree. These roosts were in the pines along the dunes. In the early AM as the sun hits the butterflies they warm up and begin to fly around getting ready for the 17 mile fight across the Delaware Bay on their way south to Mexico.

I've read about them, but I've never seen monarchs migrating - what a marvelous sight you have captured. Wonderful photos!
That is amazing!
