Bev and I have been writing for a long time, more than 25-26 years since her original pen friend, Ellyn died. Back in 1999 Lyn and Beth were able to come stay with me and meet Russ. We also were able to visit Lancaster County, PA so Bev could have some fun buying quilting fabrics and then we all went to the PA National Quilt Show. Now it's my turn to be staying with them in Ringwood. They have been great hosts taking me hither and yon.

Many years ago I send these Grandmother Flower Garden blocks to Bev. They were made by my sister, Jenny in the 70's. Bev added the gold fabric, put the top together and quilted it. It stays in her LR right now.
