Nor'easter coming ~Blizzard alerts all Friday for Coastal NJ with winds expected 20MPH with gusts into the 50's. Expected snowfall 12" to 18". But Cape May Point lucked out. Here, maybe 10" of snow fell but gusty winds so snow drifted. Other areas of Cape May County Had upwards of 15"_18". I walked 3 blocks to St Peter's Beach after digging my car out. It was 20 degrees with winds but beautiful. Hope everyone else in Winter Storm Kenan's path is safe and warm.
One of my postcard groups, Fabric Postcard Art, has been swapping using the letters of the alphabet. The swap started in 2020 and since we only do one letter per month it moves along slowly. We do exchange 2 other postcards each month also. So, we just swapped letter T in January so we have 6 months left and we'll be finished with the alphabet. I am working ahead so I am working on V is for, And then I'll just have X left. I have been using my hand-dyed fabrics for the postcards background. It's a win/win!

I have been working on more birthday themed postcard to swap this year. My 2 postcard swapping groups each have a birthday swap. You mail to everyone who signed up for the swap on their birthday. Then, on your birthday you'll receive cards from everyone. Sometimes it's just a random postcard and sometimes what you receive one that is birthday related. However, the giver makes them is always appreciated by the receiver. This year I made many that actually say Happy Birthday. Had to make almost 20 postcards. I also used my newly hand-dyed fabric for the backgrounds.
