Cloudless Sulphur Butterfly - CMC Yard

One of our goals in creating the gardens in my yard was to bring in more varieties of butterflies plus grow the host plants so we would have more caterpillers. Last evening we checked the Partridge Pea and found a very young caterpiller from the Cloudless Surphur butterfly. It is a first for us & so exciting.

Then today I went to a program given by a well known local Naturalist on Butterflies, Dragonflies & Damselflies. The program was very good and capped off by a visit to her yard which is awesome.  Pictured are 2 Cloudless Sulphur caterpillers and a Cloudless Sulphur Butterfly taken in her yard.
