Late morning we decided to visit Coachella Valley Preserve. This canyon lies along the San Andreas fault. There are several trails to hike. We hiked out the McCallum trail to the pond. We enjoyed our hike but were pretty hot before we got back as the temperatures were hovering at about 100. Our afternoon was spend at the pool relaxing and swimming.
