WY ~ American Dipper at Kepler Cascades

On the way home from Grand Teton National Park I decided that I'd like to stop by the Kepler Cascades to see if I could find an American Dipper.  I'd seen one my first day here but the looks were so brief I didn't want to count it.  I hiked up the trail some and was rewarded with an American Dipper fishing just across the water from me.  It was so much fun watching it catch food in the rushing waters which is where it prefers to be.  I must have stayed 45 minutes watching it. This was a life bird for me #415.

The Dipper is under the water catching it's lunch!
