Last week before I arrived in Yellowstone, I had heard about the wildfires that were both here and also in the Grand Teton National Park. Finally, several days ago, the all clear was given that the road inside Yellowstone that connects to the Grand Teton NP was back open again so I thought that today would be a good day to drive over to Jenny Lake area. The scenery going over was beautiful with the aspens all decked out in their fall foliage. I was disappointed to get to Jenny Lake recreation area to find it almost all closed due to construction.
