The place where I am staying is along the Indian River just across from Cape Canaveral. I love the location because it's centrally located for most of the birding areas I like to visit. It also has it's own nice amount of birds with both hawks and Osprey passing overhead and coming in for a visit. Last night when I arrived the Scaup were assessed in the hundreds. According to Eden, they come every evening and leave the next morning. Also everywhere are the Boat-tailed Grackles displaying.
