After a short drive from Deep Creek we arrived at the scenic overlook just prior to reaching Homer. It was very foggy/cloudy again and it was really interesting to look across Cook Inlet. Check out the pictures looking over to Mount Redoubt. After checking out the scenery we went into town and found a place to have dinner before going over to Homer Float Plane Cabins where we had rented a cabin on Beluga Lake. While we were eating dinner some Sandhill Cranes flew past the window. Turns out their are a pair of them live behind the restaurant. The patrons call them Rocky and Matilda. After dinner we went out to take some pictures of them.
