Besides the whales we saw lots of Sea otters, Harbor seals, Steller sea lions, Bald Eagle in nests, Harlequin Ducks in the harbor, Double-crested Cormorants, Red-faced Cormorant, Glaucous-winged Gull (life bird), Glaucous Gull (life bird), Black-legged Kittiwake (life bird), Arctic Terns, Common Murres (life bird), Horned Puffin (life bird), Tufted Puffin (life bird), Pigeon Guillemot (life bird), Northwestern Crow (life bird), Common Raven (life bird), Surf Scoter, Black Scoter and White-winged Scoter (life bird). I am not counting the Red-faced Cormorant because I didn't see it and can't swear it really was there though it would have also been a life bird for me. Then we also went out to Holgate Glacier but saw several more along the way. All around us the scenery was incredible and so beautiful. Even in my imagination I never realized how beautiful Alaska would be. It was a most wonderful day!
